HOW TO USE

Chore Schedule design and purpose for weekly chore chart template. You can turn it into monthly chore chart template excel by copying the sheets into 4 or 5 for each week in a month.

Chore Schedule has some elements:

  1. Start Date. The field to determine the first week date. It automatically set for Today date, which can be seen on formula bar. To turn the Start Date from formula into value, you can manually input the date. You turned the value to Today Date press F2, F9, and Enter in your keyboard.

  1. Date Column. There are 7 columns for each day. The top rows describe the Day name, while the bottom rows display the Date number. The Date following the Start Date.

  1. Task List. Enter the task name or description here. If you need to add new task, insert the row inside the chore table. The task supposed to be menial task performed daily, e.g. household chores. You can freely enter task name depends on how you turned the Chores template into.

  1. Chore Checklist. List for enter the task status. Consist of Who and Done columns. Who column is for the one responsible with or assigned for doing the task. Done column is for chore status. You can input Yes/No (like the example below), filling color, percentage, or other options for status name.

MODIFY

It is necessary to turning the Start Date formula into value. This is because if not changed, the chore chart template excel will have the Date Column changing. This will mess up the chores checklist status. E.g. The Start Date is on 2 June 2017. On Friday 2nd column, you enter the task status. On the next day (June 3rd), the first column will turned into June 3rd and the value in checklist will stay on June 3rd column.

If you have several names list into chore chart template excel, you can set up the Who field into drop down menu. To do that, follow the instructions:

  1. Create a table for the person list in new sheet or you can import person table. Create the list in a row or column only. This is because the Data Validation only support for only a row or only a column.
  2. Select all Who fields or columns.
  3. Click Data tab > Data Tools group > Data Validation.
  4. On the dialog box > Setting tab, follow this parameter:

Allow: List

HOW TO USE

First open the Pipeline Input menu. On the header, change the Company Name and Logo. You can add more detail on header such as period or company contact details.

Below the header, there are a table which we called Opportunity table. On the Opportunity table:

  1. Input the Opportunity name. It could be other company, where you buy the stock from or customer. If you want to use sales pipeline template xls for internal sales, you can input sector or product names.
  2. Enter the contact or responsible person in Customer Contact.
  3. Input the Sales Region, if needed.
  4. Lead Source is how the sales report will be reported via.
  5. Input the Sales Category, Forecast Amount, Sales Phase, Forecast Close, Year, and Probability of Sale.

You can add new columns for contact details if you want to, as long it is not affecting other menus.

The Timeline and Probability Forecast columns are auto-generated and fill with formula, but you can change the value or formula if you want to. The Timeline generated after you input the Forecast Close and Year. Probability Forecast generated by multiplicity between Forecast Amount and Probability of Sale.

The last row is Total row. If you want to add new row, insert the row between this and previous row.

On the right side, there are 3 filters for displaying the recorded data in table. If you want to return to normal display, click the unfiltered button.

Next, go to Pipeline Calculation menu.

Note: after you change records in one menus, it may not automatically change the value in other menus. To fix this, go to Data tab > Refresh All.

Use the slider filters below the header to display the desired sales records and periods. You can select more than one option in a filter by doing Shift + Clicking.

Below the slider filter, there is the displayed forecast in each year. It will display the forecast om table manner. If there are two rows with same name but different timeline, they will merged into one row with different column value. If you accidentally enter the records with same Opportunity name and timeline, the amounts will merged into one or summed, so be careful with duplicates.

Then, go to Pipeline Totals menu. There is only one single line chart which you can used for statistical needs. The grey line is Probability Forecast line, which displaying the sales amount in each month. The orange line is the Cumulative Forecast line, meaning that the calculation of each month is summed by previous and current sales amount.
